The menorah (lampstand) represents a tree with branches, and its light is a metaphor for the Torah (instruction) of Yahuah. A primary symbol of Yahusha and Israel, this tree can only bear good fruit.
The message of the two witnesses in the last days will be world-wide during the Great Distress. These witnesses are trees bearing good fruit. The tree used to symbolize Israel in Scripture is the fig tree, but later we read of two olive trees due to the Assyrian and Babylonian
scattering of Israel’s two houses (722 BCE, 586 BCE). Israel will one day become one tree, the joined houses of Yahudah and Afraim, but for now these two houses are scattered and separate, which Yahuah says are His witnesses.
